Vintage Spode's/Copeland Mansard Lady Anne oval serving platter. Measures approximately 13.25" x 10.5" & weighs just over 2 lbs.
Mansard refers to the shape/style, which was introduced in 1932. Lady Anne is the pattern (no. S2618), which was introduced in 1947. This is a floral motif that features red roses in the center. As for the date of this particular piece, it has an impressed datemark of L/53, indicating it was made in July of 1953.
In good pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks. Some light wear/scratches typical for a piece of this age. Please see pictures.
