This listing is for a pair gorgeous Scandinavian/viking ethnic style brooches. Love the delicate, detailed design of these unisex pieces. I imagine, they may have been a part of an authentic ethnic garb. The brooches measures roughly 2 1/4 x 5/8" and 7/8" in diameter. Both pieces have C clasps (indicating they have some age to them). I can't see any markings on either pin. They could be either sterling or 800 silver. Non-magnetic, but not tested.
The pieces are in good vintage condition, but by no means are they perfect. :-) The pin closures are slightly bent on both and there is a lot of tarnishing. As we all have our own preference in regards to the surface finish we like on our jewelry, I will not be doing any cleaning/polishing of these pieces. I'll leave that decision to the buyer.
