DESIGN
Denim pants inspired by vintage denim pants. The hem features a fly opening, also used in slacks, for a genuine denim look. The silhouette changes to express duality.
FABRIC
TOP: COTTON 100%
Uses selvedge denim woven from 14oz Memphis cotton with a dry texture, used in models from the war era. It has long fibers, and the color fades beautifully from where the fibers come off.
DETAIL
Based on 5-pocket denim pants with slash pockets seen in vintage denim, the silhouette changes by adding a large fly opening to the hem. The fly opening at the hem reveals the selvedge fabric edge. The rivets on the center side of the back pockets are removed to prevent scratching floors, etc., when sitting. 20-count UJ core yarn is used for the thread, and it gradually ages to a beige color due to indigo dye contamination. This denim pants can be worn for a long time with a combination of materials and threads that allow for aging. The buttons use APOCRYPHA.'s original tack buttons.
