Beautiful vintage Rosenthal hand-painted porcelain figurine featuring a young girl in a blue dress kneeling beside a gentle deer. Marked Rosenthal Germany Kunstabteilung Selb Handgemalt on the base. Believed to be designed by renowned sculptor Lore Friedrich-Gronau in 1937, showcases the delicate craftsmanship of Rosenthal’s Selb Kunstabteilung studio. Lovely pastel tones and fine sculptural detail, characteristic of Rosenthal’s Art Department work from mid-century Germany. She stands approximately 7" tall. A wonderful addition to a Rosenthal collection, cottagecore décor, or woodland-themed display. No chips or cracks.
