The is a extremely rare hard to find 1860 Old Virginia Smoke tobacco lithograph yellow tin can with attached flip lid made by the S.A. ILSLEY Co. of New York back in the late 1890's.
Graphics feature Polk Miller and his banjo playing Chum Henry.
This tin does NOT show up for sale very often at all.
This tin is in original condition, has not been cleaned or altered in any way.
Condition:
* Very good condition for its age.
* Has wear to paint and discoloration and a slight bend in metal at top of the edge rim on the right of the can which make the lid fit tight.
* No holes.
* Very fine cracking in yellow paint due to age.
* Oxidation to metal.
* Few spots of surface rust on bottom of can.
Measurements:
* Height: 4 inches.
* Width: 3.75 inches.
* Depth: 2.25 inches.
Comes from a smoke free home.
