Originally founded as Pescara C/5 in 1984, they merged with Virtus Serena C.S.A. in 1993 to form Polisportiva Virtus Pescara. In 1997 they then merged with l'Angolana Sport to become Polisportiva Angolana. After the 1998/99 season they returned to Pescara C5 and then, most recently, changed to Città di Montesilvano C5 in 2003.
