This is an authentic Peruvian 1/4 Real silver coin minted in Lima, Peru during the early Republic era (approx. 1826–1856). These tiny fractional reales were everyday spending money at the time and are now hard to find — especially with visible design elements.
The front shows the iconic llama, a national symbol of Peru.
The back originally displayed the cross and wreath, now mostly worn from circulation.
