This is a kimono that came out while organizing my mother and grandmother's dresser at my parents' home.
I am a complete novice when it comes to kimonos, so I don't know the details clearly. m(_ _)m
The material is believed to be silk.
This kimono has a pattern that gives a slightly Asian and Oriental feel.
The colors are also modern and lovely, with a black base, blue, and a muted red accent!
I think it would be wonderful to remake it into clothes such as a dress or tunic.
There are parts where the basting thread is still attached, so it is believed to be unused, and it is in very beautiful condition overall.
Kimono length: Approximately 138cm
Although it is not a concern, please check the following points, which I have uploaded images of.
* Repair of a hole
(5cm from the center back, 38cm from the hem)
* White discoloration
(11cm from the center back on the right side, 61.5cm from the shoulder)
* The lining has discoloration due to aging.
As it is old kimono fabric, there may be some stains, pinholes, fraying, creases, wrinkles, faded areas, repaired areas, moth-eaten areas, and storage odors.
