I'm crazy about all Beryls! Heliodor is in the Beryl family, along with Aquamarine, Emerald and Morganite, which are all better known. Just like its siblings, it is a hard and durable stone, 7.5-8 on the Mohs scale, and suitable for everyday wear in any kind of setting. It is often called the "Golden Beryl" or the "Golden Emerald".
This beauty is eye clean (VVS), a beautiful light honey color, and unheated/ untreated/ unenhanced in any way. It is master cut in a fancy cushion rectangular shape that shows off its luster. It is so superbly clean and transparent you can see the backing details through the stone in every picture!
This Heliodor was mined in Brazil. It weighs 7.75 carats and measures 12.8 X 11.6 X 8.1 mm. It is an absolute "WOW" stone, totally stunning!
