Around the medallion written in polish: “Queen of the Polish crown bless your people”
In the center Madonna with a big crown on her head, holding crowned baby Jesus.
2 angels are by each crown for protection.
Very intricate , delicate work on their robes.
This Madonna was named black Madonna because so many people came to the monetary to see the original painting and to receive a miraculous blessing and all the candles that were burned in front of it, made Madonna’s face black.
This name and images were approved by Pope Clement XI, Pope Pius X and Pope John Paul II
