Produced in Družstevní práce - Krásná jizba, as evidenced by the markings “DP”. Founded in Prague as a publishing house in 1922 and focused on associations of designers, manufacturers and distributors of handicrafts, applied art and modern design, especially on affordable mass-consumption items for a wide range of people. These initially theoretical efforts resulted in the opening in 1927 of the Krásná jizba business with a store in Prague on Národní třída (1929-1939), and soon with a dozen other branches
