Estate find. Dated September 29, 1795. My french is rusty and the writing is hard to read, but it appears to be a request from Mannheim headquarters to General Dorsner (you'll find his name on L'Arc de Triomphe in Paris).. Speaks of artillery supplies and locations.
Piece is in quite good condition, considering age, with some wear to edges, creasing, fading and soiling.
