The Tone That a Solitary Soul Plays—An Artist Book Remembering HEATH, Tracing the Footsteps of His Soul

HEATH, a bassist who showed glimpses of his talent since his indie days. His joining X JAPAN, who made a shocking debut in 1992, was a vivid highlight in his musical life. He also began solo activities in 1995. His 1st single, "Meikyu no Lovers," was etched in the memories of many as the ending theme for the anime "Detective Conan."

Even after X JAPAN disbanded, HEATH's pursuit of music never stopped, and he energetically formed bands such as Dope HEADz, RATS, and Lynx. Then, in 2007, with the reunion of the legendary band X JAPAN, he once again resonated his sound to the world. However, on October 29, 2023, HEATH departed from us.

This book, "All about HEATH," traces his footsteps, focusing on a collection of precious photographs taken during his lifetime. It includes detailed introductions to his beloved basses and equipment, reprints of valuable interviews published in the music magazine "Bass Magazine," and bass scores for X JAPAN's "SCARS" and his solo song "eagle sniper." Furthermore, through interviews with musicians who were deeply connected to HEATH, it delves into his personality and musicality, which have not been widely discussed until now.

* Memorial Photos: Reflecting on HEATH's musical journey through numerous photos that colored the times.
* Talk About HEATH: Musicians who were close to him talk about the presence of HEATH.
* Featured Musicians: YOSHIKI, PATA, SUGIZO, I.N.A., MORRIE, NOV, Luna, Jun, JO:YA, Shame, Murohime Shin
* Bass Guitars & Equipments: Introducing the instruments and equipment that supported his sound, and revealing his private studio.
* BM Interviews: Reprints of interviews published in "Bass Magazine."
* Biography & Discography: Tracing HEATH's trajectory and works.
* Bass Scores: "SCARS" (X JAPAN), "eagle sniper" (heath)
