When lit this GORGEOUS lamp gives off a light on the wall that looks like angel wings. This has been my most favorite antique I have ever found. It is such a wonderful and lovely lamp. You can add an additional shade to the middle or leave as is. I do have some shades for sale in my store. The non moveable wick adjusters says: Young's Screw Fitting
